Predictions for the 2018-19 NFL Season

AFC East

In the AFC East I have the New England Patriots winning the division. No one else in the division can really compete with the athletes and coaching of the Patriots.

AFC North

Coming out of the AFC North, I have the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburg Steelers. Originally, I had the Ravens winning the division, but I feel like since both teams are so evenly matched, either team could really contend for the title of division winner.

AFC South

In the AFC South, I have the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Houston Texans going to the playoffs. I think that behind Deshaun Watson the Texans will win the division. The Jaguars will ride their powerful defense for the entire season, but it will only be enough to grab the wild card spot.

AFC West

Coming from the AFC West I have the San Diego Chargers. I think their impressive running game, young and talented wide receiving core, solid play at quarterback, and stout defense will allow them to safely secure their spot close to the top of the AFC.

NFC East

In the NFC East I have the New York Giants winning the division. I know the Eagles are coming off of a stellar playoff run and Super Bowl win, but I do not think they will be able to get it done this year. The Cowboys will give the Giants a tough run, but I still think New York will come out on top.

NFC North

In the NFC North I have both the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings making the playoffs. The Packers are hoping to have a healthy Aaron Rodgers for the entire season to lead them to the top of the conference. The Vikings’ defense will continue to shut down opposing teams’ offenses this year much like last year.

NFC South

Coming out of the NFC South I have the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons making the playoffs. This was the hardest division for me to predict. The Saints, Falcons, and Carolina Panthers are all going to be very competitive this year. I think the Saints are a team that could make a run at the Super Bowl and the Falcons could also make some waves in the post season. I only had Atlanta making it in over Carolina because of division wins. This division is very much up in the air.

NFC West

Finally, in the NFC West I have the Los Angeles Rams winning the division and being the best team in the conference. Between the core group that they had last year and great offseason acquisitions they made this year, the Rams could be scary this year. I have the Rams as my pick to win the 2018-2019 Super Bowl.
